Description
Based on the ISO 14001 clause 4-4 the organization shall establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve an environmental management system, including the processes needed and their interactions, in accordance with the requirements of this International Standard.

Therefore, in the preparation and compilation of ISO 14001 documents, it is more important to design processes that show the relationship between processes, inputs, outputs, activities, performance monitoring indicators, etc.
For this reason, an important part of this ISO 14001 documentation is organizational processes, which consist of 6 processes as follows:
- Risk and opportunity process
- Communication process
- Operational planning and control
- Emergency preparedness and response process
- Evaluation of compliance
- Internal audit process
